I’ve Walked In Your Shoes Cleats.
Grit Sports
To be fair, my sons wore the cleats.
I cheered (and coached!) from the sidelines as they sprinted toward their dreams.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
My first foray into the college recruiting process made my head spin …
The emotions I felt when I started digging into what it was going to take to help my son get recruited to play baseball at the college level were real and raw.
I was shocked.
Saddened.
And overwhelmed.
Clearly, this process is not for the faint of heart.
How in the world is a stretched-too-thin high school athlete (or a stretched-too-thin parent) supposed to make time for this monumental effort?
And even if you do manage to find a teeny-tiny pocket of time, how do you find RELEVANT and ACCURATE information?
I knew there had to be a better way.
I was once a high school athlete who had to find my own path to college with few resources and little knowledge.
I have decades of corporate experience where I helped connect technology and ideas to bring solutions and efficiency to customer challenges.
I have experienced first-hand with my son what it’s like for a young athlete to pave a path to collegiate sports.
… and then I had an idea.
I knew I could figure out a way to transform an ambiguous and inefficient process into something actionable — and maybe even fun.
Hello, clarity.
Hello, efficiency.
Hello, big dreams … even the ones that start when you’re young.
And this is how Grit Sports came to be. I’m so glad you’re here and ready to join me on this journey.

And the real reason why all of this matters …
I believe in access to information …
Knowledge is the great equalizer. And I believe that tools and resources should be more accessible to ALL athletes who have a desire to achieve more.
… because knowledge opens doors.
When the opportunity to play college sports becomes more accessible, more athletes have the chance to play at the next level.
Open doors create opportunity …
Athletes who seize the opportunity to play develop their skills on and off the field.
… and opportunity changes lives.
The sense of passion and greatness carry with the athlete through life.
Athletes find success …
The Skills athletes learn on the playing field transcend into other areas of their lives, creating new and additional avenues for long-term success.
… all because they had the support and confidence to take a leap.
And that right there is the magic that happens when even one high school athlete is given the opportunity to achieve his or her biggest dream.
